Nigerian University Academics Union (CONUA) Threatens Industrial Action Over Unpaid Salaries

The Congress of University Academics (CONUA) in Nigeria has warned the Federal Government of potential industrial action due to its failure to finalize a collective bargaining agreement and settle outstanding salaries and entitlements owed to university lecturers. The union is demanding immediate payment of three and a half months' withheld salaries, promotion arrears, and other benefits.
