Concord University Secures Federal Grant to Expand Educational Access in Southern West Virginia

Concord University has been awarded a federal TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) grant from the U.S. Department of Education. This grant will provide nearly $1.5 million in federal funding to offer comprehensive educational, career, and financial planning services to over 1,000 adults annually in Mercer, McDowell, and Summers counties, aiming to overcome barriers to education and create pathways to economic mobility.
