Pennsylvania Bill Seeks to Prevent AI From Replacing Teachers

Pennsylvania State Senator Lindsey Williams has introduced Senate Bill 793, titled 'Human Students Need Human Educators,' to the Senate education committee on September 24. The proposed legislation aims to prohibit schools within the state from replacing human teachers with artificial intelligence. This initiative reflects growing concerns among educators and policymakers regarding AI's role in the classroom, emphasizing its use as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for human instruction.
