National Center for Education Statistics Seeks Public Comment on Strategic Redesign of Studies Portfolio

The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), part of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) within the U.S. Department of Education, has issued a Request for Information. NCES is seeking public comments on the strategic redesign of its portfolio of studies, which includes administrative data collections and sample surveys, both cross-sectional and longitudinal. Comments are due by December 3, 2026.
