NEISD Board Reviews Potential Campus Consolidations and Program Shifts

The North East Independent School District's Board of Trustees received an update on potential campus consolidations and program shifts for the 2027-2028 school year. The plan includes merging Oak Grove, Montgomery, and Dellview Elementary Schools into nearby campuses, potentially saving the district an estimated $4 million. Repurposing options for closed facilities include early childhood centers, a STEM learning center, and adult education. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency and optimize resource allocation within the district.
