Lewisville Education Foundation Launches Fund to Reimburse Teacher Certification Costs

The Lewisville Education Foundation (LEF) has announced a new Teacher Certification Reimbursement Fund to alleviate the financial burden on educators in the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) seeking to obtain or expand their teaching certifications. This initiative aims to support the professional development of nearly 4,000 credentialed educators in LISD, recognizing the significant dedication and financial investment required for certification. The program, funded initially by LEF's 'Fund a Dream' campaign, will be administered in partnership with LISD's Human Resources Certification Team.
