Irish Secondary Teachers' Union, ASTI, Announces Second National Strike Day Over Pay Dispute

The Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland (ASTI) has confirmed its members will participate in a second public-service-wide strike on Thursday, November 12th. This action, unanimously agreed upon by public service unions, is in response to the government's "paltry pay offer" which the union states would amount to a real-terms pay cut for public service workers. Rallies will be held across eight locations in Ireland.
