Live Nation Vows to Fight Monopoly Verdict After Federal Jury Finds Company Liable

Live Nation Entertainment has stated its intention to appeal a recent U.S. federal jury verdict that found the company and its subsidiary Ticketmaster liable on multiple counts, including operating an anti-competitive monopoly and unlawfully tying together tour promotions, ticketing, and venue operations. Executive Vice-President Dan Wall defended the company, arguing it is not a monopoly and will fight moves to split up Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
