Ubisoft Closes Studios, Announces Additional Job Cuts

Video game publisher Ubisoft is undertaking a cost-reduction strategy, leading to the closure of its Winnipeg and Belgrade studios. The company also plans further job reductions at its Barcelona studio and global publishing division, potentially impacting up to 380 roles. This restructuring aims to refocus operations, with Ubisoft Barcelona now concentrating solely on the Rainbow Six franchise.
