TIDAL Introduces Policy to Tag and Demonetize Wholly AI-Generated Music

Music streaming service TIDAL has implemented a new AI policy that will automatically tag music identified as wholly AI-generated within its app. Crucially, such content will be blocked from earning royalties, with TIDAL prioritizing payments to original works produced, written, and performed by human artists. The policy also aims to remove AI-generated music that impersonates artists or is linked to fraud.
