JPMorgan Lowers 2026 North American Box Office Projection

JPMorgan has revised its 2026 North America box office forecast downwards, from $9.86 billion to $9.65 billion. This adjustment is attributed to the underperformance of several major film releases and a slow start to the third quarter. While the second quarter saw $2.97 billion in revenue, strong showings from some films were insufficient to offset weaker results from others.
