'Fruit Gathering' wins Crystal Globe as Karlovy Vary International Film Festival closes its 60th edition.

The Myanmar-Czech-French co-production "Fruit Gathering" was awarded the Crystal Globe, the top prize at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which concluded on July 12, 2026. The film explores themes of women's desires in a society where intimacy between women is not socially accepted. Additionally, American actor Dustin Hoffman and French actress Juliette Binoche were honored with Crystal Globes for their outstanding artistic contributions to world cinema.
