Czech Co-Production 'Padlé ovoce' Awarded Crystal Globe at 60th Karlovy Vary Film Festival

The Czech co-produced drama "Padlé ovoce" (Fruit Gathering), directed by Aung Phyoe, has won the Crystal Globe, the top prize at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The film explores female desires in a society where love between women is considered unacceptable. Other awards included Best Director for Mads Mengel and Best Actor for Ghassan Saad.
