States File Lawsuit to Prevent Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery Merger

The New York Attorney General, along with 11 other states, has initiated legal action to halt the proposed $110 billion merger between Paramount Skydance Corp. and Warner Bros. Discovery. The lawsuit contends that this consolidation would unlawfully reduce competition within the entertainment industry, particularly impacting basic cable and theatrical film distribution.
