Penélope Cruz Among Honorees for TIFF 2026 Tribute Awards

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced its first group of 2026 Tribute Award recipients, including Academy Award-winning actress Penélope Cruz, who will receive the TIFF Special Tribute Award. Visionary filmmaker Lee Chang-dong, acclaimed actress Rosalind Eleazar, French screen icon Isabelle Huppert, and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Siân Heder are also among those being honored for their outstanding contributions to cinema. The annual awards gala is scheduled for September 13, 2026.
