Penélope Cruz, Lee Chang-dong, and Others to Receive TIFF 2026 Tribute Awards

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced the first recipients of its 2026 Tribute Awards, celebrating significant contributions to cinema. Academy Award-winning actress Penélope Cruz will receive the TIFF Special Tribute Award, while visionary filmmaker Lee Chang-dong will be honored with the TIFF Ebert Director Award. Actresses Rosalind Eleazar and Isabelle Huppert will receive TIFF Tribute Performer Awards, and Siân Heder will be presented with the TIFF Tribute Award in Impact Media. The gala is scheduled for September 13, 2026.
