Excel Entertainment and Universal Music Group Launch New Label, Excel Music

Excel Entertainment has officially launched "Excel Music," a new dedicated music label with Universal Music Group acting as a strategic shareholder and partner for marketing and distribution. This venture formalizes Universal Music India's 30% equity stake in Excel Entertainment, aiming to house original soundtracks and expand their reach across India and globally. The label's first release will be the soundtrack for "Mirzapur: The Movie."
