Excel Entertainment and Universal Music Group Partner to Launch New Music Label, Excel Music

Indian film production house Excel Entertainment has launched a new dedicated music label, Excel Music, in partnership with Universal Music Group. Universal Music Group holds a 30 percent equity stake and will serve as the marketing and distribution partner. The label's first release will be the soundtrack for 'Mirzapur: The Movie,' featuring Haryanvi star Dhanda Nyoliwala's Bollywood debut.
