Viola Davis to Star in and Executive Produce Paramount+ Original Series, 'Ascent'

Paramount+ has greenlit "Ascent," a new thriller series starring and executive produced by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award-winning actress Viola Davis. Created by John Logan, the series will feature Davis as Catriona Vail, an elite corporate fixer. Production is slated to begin in Los Angeles in 2027, and the series will premiere globally on Paramount+.
