'Worlds of Fun' Workers Vote Overwhelmingly to Join IATSE Local 31 in Kansas City

Employees at Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City voted 21–1 on July 7, 2026, to join the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 31. This newly formed bargaining unit covers 37 workers across Technical Services, Wardrobe and Stitchers, Costumes, and Creative Services, marking a significant victory for entertainment labor in the region.
