Viola Davis to Star in Paramount+ Original Series 'Ascent'

Paramount+ has greenlit "Ascent," a new thriller series starring and executive produced by EGOT winner Viola Davis. Davis will portray elite corporate fixer Catriona Vail in the series, which was created by Tony Award winner John Logan. Production is slated to begin in Los Angeles in 2027, with the series set to premiere globally exclusively on Paramount+.
