BlackStar Film Festival Highlights Community Storytelling in Philadelphia

The BlackStar Film Festival, now in its 15th year, opened its Intradependence Shorts program with three documentaries exploring how communities preserve culture. The annual Philadelphia festival, known for amplifying filmmakers of color, is screening 91 films from over 30 countries and runs through Sunday.
