Hong Kong Filmmaker Ann Hui to Receive 2026 Camellia Award at Busan International Film Festival

Acclaimed Hong Kong filmmaker Ann Hui has been named the recipient of the 2026 Camellia Award, presented in partnership with CHANEL, at the 31st Busan International Film Festival. The award recognizes filmmakers who have significantly contributed to elevating the status of women in the film industry. Hui, a defining figure of the Hong Kong New Wave, boasts a career spanning over four decades with 27 feature films and two feature-length documentaries.
