SoundCloud starts letting artists sell downloads direct from their profiles – and says it's taking zero commission

SoundCloud has launched a beta program allowing artists to sell music directly to fans from their profiles, taking zero commission on these sales. This initiative aims to enable artists to build their audience and careers on one platform, with artists receiving proceeds minus applicable fees and taxes. The beta begins with approximately 200 US-based Artist Pro creators who have Fan Support enabled.
