Fewer Than 30% of Creators on Music Industry Rosters Are Women, New Report Finds

She Is The Music and ROSTR released the "Music's Gender Parity Index" report on Women's Equality Day, revealing that women constitute less than 30% of creators on the rosters of record labels, music publishers, management companies, and booking agencies. This underrepresentation extends to professionals, with women making up only 26.7% of managers and 25.9% of agents, highlighting an imbalance at the economic core of the music industry. The report analyzes over 500 industry rosters and identifies 63 companies and professionals with at least 50% women on their creator rosters.
