Sony PlayStation State of Play Reveals New Games, Release Dates, and Hardware

Sony's September 2026 State of Play event showcased several new gaming developments, including an extended look at Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the reveal of two limited edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by GTA 6, and the announcement of Crimson Desert DLC. Release dates were also provided for Until Dawn 2, Metro 2039, and Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The event also featured a State of Play Japan segment with new looks at Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara and two new Konami games.
