Riot Games and TJ Sports Announce Inaugural 2026 World Star Challengers Invitational for Tier 2 LoL Esports Teams

Riot Games, in collaboration with TJ Sports, has unveiled the first-ever World Star Challengers Invitational (WSCI), a global tournament for Tier 2 League of Legends esports teams. Scheduled from September 20 to October 2, 2026, the event will feature 16 teams from major LoL Esports regions, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas. This new tournament aims to accelerate player development, strengthen regional ecosystems, and provide a global showcase for the next generation of esports stars.
