SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical Contract Update: Pension & Health Contribution Rate Increases Effective September 6, 2026

As part of the 2026 TV/Theatrical Agreement approved by SAG-AFTRA members in June, the Pension & Health contribution rate has increased by 1% today, September 6, 2026. The new rates are 22% for principal performers and 21.5% for background performers. This change is part of a larger agreement that includes over $700 million in improvements to the contract.
