AMC Settles 'The Walking Dead' Profit Lawsuit for $120 Million
AMC has agreed to pay "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman and four producers $120 million to settle a breach of contract lawsuit over profits from the hit franchise. This settlement brings the network's total payouts related to the series to $320 million, following a previous $200 million settlement in 2021. The latest payment, with $85 million due this month, will reduce AMC's expected 2026 free cash flow from approximately $220 million to $150 million.
