Paramount Mandated to Increase US Film Production by $1.5 Billion Over Five Years

California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced a settlement requiring Paramount to substantially boost its film production within the United States. Under the five-year agreement, Paramount must allocate an additional $300 million annually, or a total of $1.5 billion over five years, towards US film production. This initiative aims to create more jobs and bring film production back to the country, addressing the current low percentage of Paramount's domestic production.
