Disney to License Select Disney+ Originals and Film Library Content to Netflix

Disney has entered a content distribution deal with Netflix, allowing select Disney+ original series and films from its library, including "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and "Ice Age" movies, to stream on Netflix globally. This strategic move aims to monetize catalog content and potentially introduce franchises to Netflix's larger audience, with some titles appearing as early as October 2026 and others in early 2027.
