SAG-AFTRA Members to Vote on New TV Animation Agreement Featuring Wage Hikes and AI Protections

SAG-AFTRA's Executive Committee has unanimously approved a tentative four-year television animation agreement, which will now go to members for ratification. The proposed contract includes a 3% annual wage increase, retroactive to July 5, 2026, and expands AI protections for voice actors. Additionally, performers would see an average 5% increase in residuals for programs moving to subscription streaming platforms.
