Emmy Awards to Stream Exclusively on Prime Video Starting 2027

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) has announced a multi-year deal with Amazon's Prime Video for the Prime-Time Emmy Awards, ending its traditional four-network rotation. Starting in 2027, Prime Video will exclusively carry the ceremony live each September through 2032, making the event available to viewers in over 200 countries without a paid subscription. This move aims to expand the ceremony's international audience and attract younger viewers who increasingly favor streaming platforms over traditional television.
