Emmy Awards Ceremony to Move to Prime Video Starting in 2027

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) has finalized a multi-year deal with Amazon's Prime Video to stream the annual Prime-Time Emmy Awards. Beginning in 2027, the ceremony will be available live each September to viewers in over 200 countries, ending its decades-long rotation on traditional broadcast networks. This move aims to expand the ceremony's international audience and attract younger viewers.
