Emmys and Oscars Set to Move to Streaming Platforms by 2029

The Emmy Awards will move to Amazon Prime Video starting in 2027 for a six-year deal, ending decades on broadcast television. This significant industry shift highlights networks' struggles with declining ratings and high rights fees, while streamers seek the prestige and live audience engagement these events offer.
