Spotify Inks Licensing Deal with Believe for AI Covers and Remixes Tool

Spotify has signed a licensing agreement with Believe for its upcoming AI-powered covers and remixes tool, covering participating artists and labels at Believe and TuneCore. This deal follows similar agreements with Universal Music Group, Merlin, and Kobalt, and is designed to create an additional revenue stream for artists and songwriters. The tool will compensate rights holders for fan-made remixes streamed on Spotify and will be offered as a paid add-on for Spotify Premium subscribers.
