LPL Teams Suffer 0-4 Defeat in Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage Opening Round

The opening round of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage saw an unprecedented outcome as all four LPL (China) teams lost their matches, resulting in a 0-4 start for the region. Conversely, the LCK (Korea) teams achieved a perfect 4-0 sweep. This marks the first time in Worlds history that every LPL side failed to win in the opening round of the Swiss Stage.
