LPL Teams Suffer 0-4 Defeat in Worlds 2026 Swiss Round 1 Opener

The Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage commenced with an unexpected outcome as all four LPL (China's League of Legends Pro League) teams lost their opening matches. This marks the first time in Worlds history that every LPL side failed to secure a win in the initial round of the Swiss Stage. LCK (South Korea's League of Legends Champions Korea) teams, including Gen.G and T1, achieved a perfect 4-0 start against their Chinese counterparts.
