Singapore International Film Festival 2026 Sets New Attendance Record, "Ah Girl" Wins Best Film

The 37th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) concluded on November 1, 2026, achieving a new box office record for the fourth consecutive year with 27 sold-out screenings. The festival showcased over 100 films from more than 50 countries, with Ang Geck Geck's "Ah Girl" taking home the Best Film award at the Silver Screen Awards. The event also marked a return to Capitol Theatre for its closing celebrations, featuring the Asian premiere of "Vintage Violence."
