US Nonfarm Business Productivity Sees Modest Rise in Early 2026

Labor productivity in the U.S. nonfarm business sector grew by 0.3 percent during the first quarter of 2026. This increase resulted from a 1.0 percent rise in output alongside a 0.7 percent increase in hours worked. This represents the slowest rate of productivity growth observed since the first quarter of the previous year.
