Eurostat Reports Wide Disparities in European Consumer Prices

A new analysis from Eurostat indicates that the cost of an identical basket of consumer goods and services can vary by nearly four times across different European countries. Iceland and Switzerland are noted as the most expensive, while North Macedonia offers the cheapest prices. Within the EU, Luxembourg has the highest costs and Romania the lowest.
