OPEC Lowers 2026 Global Oil Demand Growth Forecast for Second Consecutive Month
OPEC has again trimmed its forecast for global oil demand growth in 2026, projecting an increase of 970,000 barrels per day (b/d), down from its previous forecast of 1.17 million b/d. This downgrade is partly attributed to reduced demand growth in India and a projected decline in Middle East consumption.
