Eurozone Services Production Rises 0.7% in April, Led by Transport and Information Sectors

According to Eurostat's first estimates, seasonally adjusted services production in the euro area increased by 0.7% in April 2026 compared to March. Across the EU, services output rose by 0.3%. On an annual basis, services production in both the euro area and the EU increased by 1.8% compared to April 2025. Monthly increases in the euro area were notably seen in the transport and storage (+1.5%) and information and communication (+0.6%) sectors.
