IMF cuts Türkiye's 2026 growth forecast, sees rebound in 2027
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lowered its economic growth projection for Türkiye in 2026 to 2.9%, a 0.5 percentage point reduction from its April forecast, while slightly raising its outlook for 2027 to 3.6%. This update was included in the IMF's July 2026 World Economic Outlook.
