Dune Research Finds 85% of Concentrated DeFi Liquidity Underutilized, $150M in Annual Fees Foregone

New research from Dune Analytics indicates that approximately 85% of concentrated liquidity across various decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols is underutilized at any given moment. This inefficiency leads to an estimated $150 million in annual fees foregone by out-of-range liquidity providers, with over a third of this idle capital remaining untouched for more than 90 days.
