Santander Reports Strong Q2 2026 Financial Results, Adding 12 Million Customers

Santander announced robust financial results for the second quarter of 2026, with underlying profit rising 15% to €7.3 billion in the first half of the year. The bank added 12 million customers and achieved an underlying return on tangible equity (RoTE) of 15.6%.
