Oil Prices Surge Amid Renewed Middle East Tensions
Crude oil prices have seen a significant jump following reports from the U.S. Central Command that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched multiple ballistic missiles at U.S. forces in the Middle East, which were successfully intercepted. Brent crude rose 3.27% to $86.72 a barrel, and WTI crude increased 3.44% to $82.16 a barrel.
