Bloomberg Expands Electronic Trading for Australian ETFs, Options, and Futures
Bloomberg has expanded its electronic trading capabilities for the Australian markets, allowing eligible onshore participants to electronically negotiate Australian-listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs), options, and futures using Bloomberg's Request-for-Quote (RFQe) workflow. This development follows a variation amendment by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and aims to simplify trading workflows by integrating with Bloomberg's EMSX and AIM, providing a complete electronic audit trail.
