Argentina and China Extend Multi-Billion-Dollar Currency Swap Agreement by Five Years

Argentina and China have extended their 130-billion-yuan (approximately $19 billion) currency swap agreement for another five years. This extension aims to provide greater predictability for Argentina's financial stability and support trade and investment between the two nations. A 35-billion-yuan tranche released in 2023 will remain in effect.
