U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) shows modest increases in July 2026.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) remained unchanged in July 2026 on a seasonally unadjusted basis, and increased by 0.1% seasonally adjusted. The CPI-U for all items less food and energy rose by 0.1% unadjusted and 0.2% seasonally adjusted in July 2026. Over the past year, the unadjusted CPI-U for all items increased by 3.4%, while all items less food and energy increased by 2.5%.
